Information security principal

As an Information Security Principal at our Technology entity, you will play a crucial role in connecting digital security with C&P business teams. Your responsibilities will include advising on cyber, compliance, risk management, and data loss prevention, with a special focus on customer data risk. You will strategically integrate cybersecurity into new initiatives and technology roadmaps while providing tactical support for incident management. Reporting directly to the SVP of Digital Security and being part of the Digital Security Leadership Team, you will collaborate across digital security and various business units. Serving as the trusted cybersecurity advisor to the Customer and Products (C&P) business, you will ensure that cybersecurity is embedded in all aspects of our operations, from customer interactions to product offerings. Your role will involve aligning security controls with business objectives and regulatory requirements, executing our cybersecurity strategy within defined risk tolerances, and leading a team of cyber experts to manage digital security across the portfolio. Key responsibilities include collaborating with business units to address cybersecurity risks, providing technical expertise in Information Security, managing incident response efforts, leading and developing a resilient team, acting as the main contact for information security, and prioritizing operational safety through enhanced digital security measures. To be successful in this role, you should have a tertiary level education or equivalent work experience, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA. You should possess significant experience in internal or external information security and risk roles, a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices, experience in IT operational processes, delivery, and operations, as well as technical knowledge in delivering security solutions and leading security processes. Additionally, you should have a consistent track record of forming effective partnerships with the business, working in large enterprise environments, and demonstrating leadership qualities.
