Anant National University, India’s Premier Design University, is dedicated to training students to devise solutions for global problems through creative thinking. Our DesignX way is unique in helping young designers develop a better understanding of the context we live in through community immersion, innovation and collaboration. The core of our pedagogy is sustainable design multiplied by a host of knowledge disciplines and technology to make problem solving impactful. Our multidisciplinary undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in design, architecture, climate action and visual arts harness the knowledge from various disciplines and traditional practices to integrate it with cutting edge technology to address diverse challenges.


Responsibilities:


  • Industry Engagement & Conversion

  • Build and manage a high-value network of companies, firms, studios, think tanks, and startups in design, architecture, sustainability, climate, and allied sectors.
  • Identify opportunities for student placement, internships, live projects, and sponsored studio.
  • Work closely with Career Services to create market maps, employer decks, and strategic outreach flows.
  • Represent Anant at industry forums, panels, and corporate events to pitch institutional value.


  • Faculty–Intelligentsia Integration:

  • Create bridges between Anant’s faculty and ecosystem thought leaders – industry juries, research panels, design reviewers, and fellowship hosts.
  • Position faculty in networks of influence – from incubation panels to national policy groups to conference circuits.
  • Curate intimate roundtables and salons to increase brand salience among ecosystem insiders.


  • Narrative-Backed Relationship Building:

  • Develop outcome-rich storytelling: how Anant’s pedagogy delivers future-ready talent.
  • Work with the Marketing Director to shape personalised outreach narratives for key industries and roles.
  • Use design portfolios, venture showcases, and studio outputs as pitch assets.


  • Reporting & Governance

  • Maintain CRM and relationship trackers.
  • Contribute to quarterly marketing-industry integration reports.
  • Track KPIs: engagement initiated, companies onboarded, faculty-industry connects, internship pipelines, and new showcases enabled.
  • Key SkillsYou love turning relationships into reputational capital.
  • You can sit across from a CEO and confidently pitch an academic institution.
  • You see faculty not just as teachers, but as national voices.

Qualifications

6-10 years in industry partnership, talent relations, or ecosystem-building roles (education, consulting, design, development, or CSR)

Demonstrated ability to open doors and deepen relationships in professional networks

Background in design, architecture, sustainability, education or adjacent creative domains

Confident communicator and connector – warm yet strategic

Experience pitching talent, showcasing outcomes, and converting meetings into momentum
