Industrial Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct time and motion studies to analyze production workflows and identify inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and standard minute values (SMVs) for garment styles and operations.
• Monitor and optimize line balancing, workstation layout, and operator performance.
• Work with production and planning teams to achieve daily production targets and efficiency goals.
• Support capacity planning, manpower allocation, and bottleneck elimination.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure product quality is not compromised during process improvements.
• Maintain production reports, efficiency tracking, and downtime analysis for continuous improvement.
• Use tools like GSD (General Sewing Data), ERP/MIS systems, or similar software for performance analysis and reporting.
• Train line supervisors and operators on best practices and new methods for improved efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of industrial engineering concepts specific to textile/garment manufacturing.
• Experience in method study, work study, and production planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production analysis tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in the textile/garment/apparel manufacturing industry (freshers with internship experience may also apply depending on the role).

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
