Role Overview

Industrial Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the

  industrial design

  of Bharat Ecolabs’ product range (packaged STPs, IoT-enabled modules, biotech devices, green energy systems, etc.).
• Develop

  concept sketches, 3D models, and prototypes

  for new products.
• Work with engineers to translate functional requirements into manufacturable, cost-effective, and user-centric designs.
• Ensure

  sustainability and material innovation

  , exploring eco-friendly and recyclable alternatives to conventional materials.
• Design for

  ease of use, modularity, and scalability

  , keeping Tier-2/3 towns and urban applications in mind.
• Collaborate with branding and marketing teams to align product design with Bharat Ecolabs’

  brand identity and customer experience goals

• Conduct

  ergonomic, usability, and field tests

  to refine product design.
• Stay updated with

  industrial design trends, manufacturing techniques, and cleantech industry requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Industrial Design / Product Design

  or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience

  in industrial/product design (experience in clean tech, environmental tech, or hardware startups is a plus).
• Strong portfolio showcasing

  functional, innovative, and aesthetically appealing designs

  .
• Proficiency in

  CAD software

  (SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, or equivalent) and rendering tools.
• Knowledge of

  manufacturing processes, materials, and prototyping

  .
• Strong visualization, sketching, and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to work in a

  multidisciplinary team environment

  (engineering, biotechnology, and design).
• A passion for

  sustainability, innovation, and problem-solving

Compensation

• ₹25,000 per month during a 6-month probation period

  .
• Upon successful completion of probation, a

  salary revision

  can be expected based on performance and project contributions.
• Additional growth opportunities as Bharat Ecolabs expands its product portfolio.
