Industrial Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Siemens automation systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning automation solutions using Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and program Siemens PLCs (S7-300, S7-1200, S7-1500) Configure and develop Siemens HMIs (WinCC, WinCC Comfort/Advanced) Develop and maintain SCADA systems (Siemens WinCC SCADA) Perform system testing, debugging, and on-site commissioning Prepare project documentation including I/O lists, logic flow, and user manuals Integrate various field devices with Siemens PLCs using Profibus, Profinet, and Modbus Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automation-related issues Collaborate with design, electrical, and production teams to ensure smooth project execution Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field Minimum 3 years of experience working with Siemens automation platforms Strong knowledge of TIA Portal, Step 7, and Structured Text (ST)/Function Block (FB) programming Familiarity with VFDs, sensors, actuators, and industrial control panels Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs Good communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel occasionally for commissioning and support Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Benefits: Commuter assistance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Application Question(s): Do you have experience in Siemens PLC programming, SCADA and HMI commissioning?
