Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for skilled and passionate Indian Tandoor CDP/DCDP/Commis I to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in preparing a variety of tandoor items such as naan, roti, kebabs, and other traditional Indian breads and dishes, while maintaining consistent quality and authentic flavors.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook tandoor dishes (breads, kebabs, curries, etc.) according to standardized recipes.
Must have good experience in making naan, roti, paratha, kulcha, and other Indian breads.
Assist in menu planning, food costing, and daily mise en place.
Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tandoor section and kitchen area.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Train and guide junior staff when required.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Indian Tandoor section.
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, marinades, and traditional tandoor techniques.
Skilled in preparing a wide range of tandoori breads and items.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
