Indian Chef :Hotel

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in traditional and modern Indian cuisine, a deep understanding of regional dishes, and a creative approach to presentation and flavor. You will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes, managing kitchen operations, ensuring hygiene standards, and contributing to menu development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of Indian dishes, including North Indian, South Indian, and regional specialties.
• Ensure food is prepared in accordance with standard recipes and presentation specifications.
• Supervise kitchen staff involved in Indian cuisine preparation.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen.
• Monitor food stock, reduce waste, and manage kitchen inventory related to Indian food.
• Assist in the development of Indian menus and seasonal specials.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department to source authentic Indian ingredients.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff in Indian cooking techniques.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Indian Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or similar establishment (typically 5+ years).
• In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
• Culinary degree or diploma preferred but not mandatory with sufficient experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
