J ob Description Summary A career within Advisory line of service at PwC for SAP Practice

1) Solution Strategy Architecture Define and own the SAP PS strategy aligned to business objectives (CAPEX goverce, project profitability, milestone billing, resource planning). Architect endtoend S/4HANA PS solution including project structures (WBS/Networks), cost planning, budget management, commitments, settlement, and intercompany scenarios. Establish standards for PS integration with FI/CO (settlement, results analysis), MM (procurement, services), SD (billing plans), PP (network activities), PM (maintece projects), HR/SuccessFactors (resource management), PPM/CPM (portfolio goverce). Drive Fiori app adoption for PS processes and ensure usability KPIs (adoption, cycle time, error rates). 2) Delivery Leadership Goverce Lead and govern endtoend PS implementations, rollouts, and enhancements using SAP Activate methodology. Own design authority approve BBP, process flows, configuration, RICEFW scope, Results Analysis (RA) keys, Settlement Profiles, Milestone/Timebased billing, and Budget/Availability Control. Oversee data migration (projects/WBS, budgets, commitments, actuals, open POs), testing (E2E, UAT, RA/settlement test packs), and cutover (periodend readiness). Manage hypercare and stabilization metrics defects rate, settlement success %, RA accuracy, closing timeline. 3) Ficial Controls Compliance Design controls for budget, availability control, fund management, and periodend processes (RA run, settlement to cost centers/PA/Assets). Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, SOX, audit traceability, and project cost capitalisation policies (AUC, final asset). Define approval workflows (e.g., budget changes, WBS release/lock) via Workflow/Fiori. 4) Stakeholder Management Engage CXO/VP stakeholders to translate outcomes into SAP PS capabilities (e.g., margin visibility, EVA, WIP, milestone/billing forecast). Partner with Fice, Procurement, Engineering/PMO, Sales, Operations to drive adoption and process harmonization. Present roadmaps, status, risk mitigation, and value tracking to executive steering committees. 5) Team Leadership Capability Building Build and lead a team of PS functional consultants and integration SMEs; mentor on best practices and S/4HANA innovations. Establish reusable templates, accelerators, test packs, and configuration repositories; promote COE goverce.
Drive upskilling on Fiori, CPM/PPM, Analytics (Embedded BW/Analytics Cloud). 6) PreSales / Advisory (if applicable) Support proposals and solution demos scoping, effort estimation, delivery plans, and risk assessment. Contribute to thought leadership POVs, whitepapers, and client workshops on PS transformation. Core SAP PS Scope (Handson Goverce) Project Structures Project definitions, WBS elements, networks, activities, relationships, milestones, versions. Planning Budgeting Cost/revenue planning, budgeting, availability control (AVC), forecast reforecast cycles. Procurement Execution PR/PO via MM, service entry, confirmations, timesheets, external services. Fice Integration RA (costbased, revenuebased), settlement (COPA, assets/AUC, G/L), WIP, unit costing. Billing Commercials SD integration for milestone billing plans, time materials (TM), progressbased billing. Reporting/Analytics Project KPIs CPI/SPI, EAC, ETC, EVA, margin analysis; Fiori tiles custom CDS views. Portfolio Resource Management SAP PPM/CPM alignment (optional/desired) for portfolio prioritization and resource capacity planning.
