Within Advisory, PwC has a large team that focuses on transformation in Government through Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with. Responsibilities Broad role typically entails our resources to adopt problem solving approach to solve important client problems and extend support in monitoring / managing large projects, involving following responsibilities: Study and assessment of business and technical requirements including review of the architecture for business applications and suggest improvements Provide technology expertise for the overall design and implementation of planned systems Evaluation of all the existing system options as a solution to cater to project requirements and define roadmap and suggest improvements Study and define various integration mechanism of existing solution Assess open-source solutions and technology and recommend adoption in planned systems Review the work breakdown structure and effort estimation provided by the application vendor for necessary optimizations. Coordinate with various stakeholders for successful implementation of proposed solution. Mandatory Skill Sets Thorough understanding of designing and implementing API based integration between multiple stakeholders Thorough understanding of designing and understanding Microservices based architecture of applications Thorough understanding of open-source tools and technology Hands on experience in prevalent software development methodologies (e.g. Agile). Preferred Skill Sets Experience in application design and development, either hands-on or in management/consulting roles Have hands-on experience working with major architecture components: business process, information, and infrastructure, is preferred Should have a sound understanding of COTS products and Open-Source products Years Of Experience Required 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development and architecting Experience in the field of software development and software project implementation Experience of working with Government (Central, State, ULBs) / related agencies is preferred Experience of working with Taxation agencies (or agencies with multiple integration points) on technology initiatives is preferred Education Qualification B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA / MBA TOGAF or any other industry standard Architecture certification Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required: Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Engineering Degrees/Field Of Study Preferred Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified) Required Skills Application Architecture Design Optional Skills Desired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified) Travel Requirements Not Specified Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?
