Role Overview:

We are looking for a Import Pricing Executive to join our Mumbai team. The ideal candidate should have experience in import freight pricing (primarily ocean and air), excellent negotiation skills, and strong knowledge of the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain competitive import freight rates from shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents.

• Prepare accurate and timely quotations for import inquiries (LCL/FCL, air freight).

• Coordinate with overseas offices/partners for pricing inputs and route feasibility.

• Maintain and update a rate database for key trade lanes and services.

• Support the sales and operations teams with pricing for tenders and key clients.

• Ensure margin accuracy, cost analysis, and profitability in quotes.

• Track market rate trends and competitor pricing to stay competitive.

• Build strong relationships with carriers, consolidators, and NVOCCs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline (Logistics/Supply Chain diploma preferred).

• 3 to 10 years of experience in import pricing within a freight forwarding or logistics company.

• Strong understanding of Incoterms, HS codes, and international shipping documentation.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication.

• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver quotes within short timelines .
