Job Description

As an Import & Export Documentation Executive at our company, your role is crucial in handling the import and export processes efficiently. Your main responsibilities include: - Handling the import process, import shipment tracking, and customs clearance. - Preparing Daily tracking MIS for Import shipment Status. - Coordinating with shipping lines, CHA (Customs House Agents), freight forwarders, and transporters for timely delivery of consignments. - Ensuring compliance with Import Checklist and following up with CHA to file the Checklist within the timeline. - Coordinating with CHA for Original Import Documents and Original BL (Bill of Lading). - Ensuring compliance with all import regulations, licensing, and documentation as per DGFT and customs norms. - Preparing and reviewing all import-related documentation (Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, BOE, COO, etc.). - Coordinating with the Dispatch Team to finalize dispatch dates and ensure timely shipment readiness. - Arranging bookings with freight forwarders based on shipment schedules and customer requirements. - Organizing transportation for export container movement, ensuring timely loading and dispatch. - Coordinating with the Sales Team and CRM to finalize the Proforma Invoice and verify shipment terms. - Generating commercial invoices for various shipment terms, including Ex-Works, FOB, DDU, CIF, and DDP. - Coordinating with the CHA for the preparation of the Export Checklist and finalizing the Shipping Bill (SB). - Ensuring timely closure of shipment files after documentation is completed and delivery is confirmed. - Maintaining clear and consistent communication with CHA and Forwarders regarding export shipment movements. - Coordinating with CHA/Agents to ensure vessel connections are made as per the planned vessel schedule. - Coordinating with the Manager to update the status of export container movement and share information with customers promptly. - Handling closure of Shipping Bills (SB) and Bill of Entry (BOE) as per regulatory compliance. - Generating and tracking e-BRC (Electronic Bank Realization Certificate) from the bank portal and ensuring timely submission to DGFT or other authorities. Qualifications Required: - Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, International Business, Logistics, or a related field. - 5 years of experience in import documentation and coordination (Manufacturing/Trading/Logistics). - Strong knowledge of import procedures, customs regulations, Incoterms, and HS Codes.,
