About the Position

Somireddy Law Group is seeking both experienced professionals and recent law graduates who have a strong interest in gaining hands-on experience in the practical application of American and international law, particularly in immigration law matters. The role offers a diverse work profile and will not be limited to a specific set of assignments.

Roles & Responsibilities

Selected individuals responsibilities will include:

• Assist with H1B cap applications, including initial filing and lottery processes.
• Provide guidance on extending, transferring, or amending H1B visas.
• Offer comprehensive support for all stages of Green Card (permanent residency) applications.
• Efficiently manage Labor Condition Applications (LCA) to ensure compliance.
• Possess expertise in filing and managing various visa types, including H1, H4, B1, OPT, CPT, etc., as well as special visas like L-1 & L-2 visas, U Visa, TN, J, R Visa, P Visa, EB visas, etc.
• Send legal questionnaires and a checklist of required documents to applicants and follow up to ensure timely submission of all necessary materials.
• Apply for new Labor Condition Applications (LCA) based on job location and prevailing wage requirements and track LCAs across different projects.
• Review all documents according to the checklist and prepare the petition for submission.
• Complete forms I-129, I-129H, I-129DC, LCA, petition letters, and supporting documents.
• File PERM applications, I-140 petitions, I-485 adjustment of status applications, petition letters, and supporting documents.
• Complete Form I-539 for H4 dependents and manage all U.S. immigration activities, including H1 and H4 visa processing.
• File Form I-907 for premium processing when expedited handling is required.
• Prepare offer letters, employment agreements, STEM extension letters, consulate letters, and experience letters as needed.
• Handle H1B amendments, extensions, transfers, H4 dependent visa filings, and H4 EAD filings, including the preparation of supporting documents for PERM and I-140 audits.
• Address Requests for Evidence (RFEs) on various immigrant and non-immigrant petitions.
• Work closely with attorneys and clients to ensure petitions are filed correctly and on time to avoid delays.
• Coordinate and track all immigration activities throughout the entire process.

Eligibility

1. Must be a law graduate or hold a postgraduate degree from a recognized university (law graduate preferred).
2. Must have professional fluency in English, both written and verbal.
3. Must possess excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude.
4. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to generate reports.
5. Should be a strong team player.
6. Must be capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision.
7. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Duration: Minimum two years of commitment required.
