Identity Management Consultant

As an Identity and Access Management RBAC Analyst at Synchrony, your role will involve the management, oversight, maintenance, testing, support, and optimization of Synchrony's identity governance and role-based access control (RBAC) using SailPoint Identity IQ. You will be responsible for ensuring that roles and workgroups have complete and accurate information in compliance with regulatory and Synchrony standards. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in the identity governance configuration management agile product team. - Enforce RBAC policies and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational security policies - Identify, test, and remediate any misconfigured roles and workgroups in SailPoint IdentityIQ - Provide support for RBAC-related inquiries, troubleshooting access issues, and performing necessary role modifications - Develop, test, and deploy updates to roles, entitlements, and workgroups in alignment with Synchrony standards - Map entitlements and permissions to appropriate roles based on job functions and organizational requirements - Collaborate with role and workgroup owners, IAM security administration team, and IAM identity technologies team to ensure accurate and complete configurations Your qualifications should include: - Minimum of 5 years of IT experience and at least 2 years of Identity Access Management Role Based Access Control (RBAC) experience - Minimum 2 years of role administration experience within SailPoint IdentityIQ systems - Working knowledge of Entitlements, IT Roles, and Business Roles - Experience managing ServiceNow requests and incidents, resolving tickets within SLA - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Desired Characteristics: - Working knowledge of Jira and SAFE agile framework - Strong oral and written communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills - Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Excel - Knowledge of security-related regulatory standards including HIPAA, PCI, SOX, NIST - Good understanding of AWS and O365 environments - Working knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL (Note: Additional details of the company were not present in the provided Job Description),
