About the Opportunity

Operating in the fast-growing K-12 International Baccalaureate education sector, we deliver rigorous, concept-driven STEM programs that prepare learners for global universities and future skills. With state-of-the-art labs and a collaborative faculty, our mission is to ignite curiosity and scientific literacy across MYP and Diploma Programme cohorts.

Role & Responsibilities

Plan and facilitate engaging MYP and DP Physics lessons aligned to IB Scope & Sequence and assessment criteria.
Design inquiry-based practicals and extended experiments that embed real-world applications and safety best practices.
Track student progress using ATL skills rubrics, deliver timely feedback, and lead Internal Assessment supervision.
Coordinate with TOK, Maths, and Design teams to integrate interdisciplinary units and STEAM projects.
Contribute to curriculum review, moderation, and accreditation documentation per IB standards.
Mentor learners for Physics Olympiads, EE research, and college readiness pathways.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Bachelor or Master degree in Physics or related field plus B.Ed or teaching certification.
2+ years recent classroom experience teaching DP or MYP Physics in an IB World School.
Deep understanding of IB assessment methodology, command terms, and grade descriptors.
Proficiency with data-driven differentiation, digital simulations, and lab equipment calibration.
Excellent English communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

IB Category 1/2 training certificates.
Experience with blended learning platforms such as ManageBac, Microsoft Teams, or Google Classroom.
Record of guiding students to 6/7 scores or national science competitions.
