Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IBDP Psychology for Psychology department, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and student engagement. The ideal candidate should have expertise in the IBDP Psychology curriculum , and a passion for fostering critical thinking and inquiry-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Curriculum Development

Oversee the IBDP Psychology curriculum, ensuring alignment with IB guidelines and school standards.
Develop innovative lesson plans, teaching methodologies, and assessments that promote analytical and research-oriented learning.
Implement interdisciplinary teaching approaches, integrating Psychology with other IB subjects.
Stay updated on IB curriculum changes and best practices to enhance program delivery.
Foster a culture of academic rigour, intellectual curiosity, and independent inquiry among students.
Teaching & Student Engagement
- Teach IBDP Psychology (Years 1 & 2), ensuring high-quality instruction and active student participation.
- Guide students in Internal Assessments (IA), Extended Essays (EE), and Theory of Knowledge (TOK) discussions.
- Provide individualised support and mentoring to students preparing for IB exams and university applications.
- Encourage critical thinking, real-world application of psychological concepts, and research-based learning.
  Assessment & Evaluation
  
  Design and administer formative and summative assessments in line with IB standards.
  
  Analyse student performance data and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  
  Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate academic records.
