Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an IBDP Physics Facilitator based in Visakhapatnam. The IBDP Physics Facilitator will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, inquiry-based physics lessons in alignment with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) curriculum. The facilitator will assess and monitor students’ progress, provide individualized support, and foster a collaborative learning environment that encourages critical thinking and scientific exploration. Alongside regular teaching tasks, the facilitator will be expected to help students prepare for assessments and projects, participate in professional development opportunities, and contribute to the school’s vibrant and inclusive community.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Physics and a deep understanding of the IBDP curriculum, with the ability to design and deliver effective lesson plans.
  • Experience in collaborative planning, inquiry-based teaching, and facilitating student-centered learning.
  • Strong skills in monitoring and assessing student performance to provide constructive feedback and support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology tools and resources to enhance the learning experience.
  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Physics or related field; preference for candidates with a teaching certification or a Master’s degree in Education.
  • Prior experience teaching the IBDP Physics curriculum is highly desirable.
  • A collaborative mindset, passion for education, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
