Primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality instruction in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Physics course, inspire a passion for scientific inquiry, and guide students in achieving academic success and personal growth in accordance with IB philosophy. Job description Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IBDP Physics curriculum and IB standards. Design and assess both formative and summative tasks, including Internal Assessments (IAs) and Extended Essays (EEs). Foster an inquiry-based learning environment encouraging student-led exploration and critical thinking. Differentiate instruction to cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities. Participate in collaborative planning with other IB educators and attend professional development sessions. Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback. Support students in preparing for external assessments (Paper 1, 2, and 3). Uphold the IB Learner Profile and promote academic honesty and international mindedness. Engage with parents, students, and colleagues to support student learning and well-being. Position Requirements Passion for science education and commitment to student development. Experience with laboratory work, safety procedures, and data analysis. Technologically proficient; able to use digital tools for teaching and assessment. Commitment to ongoing professional development. Qualifications Masters degree in physics or related field. Teaching qualification/certification required. Minimum 35 years of teaching experience in Physics; prior IBDP experience preferred. Familiarity with IB standards and practices, including ATL skills and TOK integration. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
