Required Qualifications

Educational

• Bachelors / Masters degree in:
• Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
• Computer Applications (CA)
• Data Science / Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
  or a closely related discipline.(DS / AIML)

Technical Skills (as relevant to department)

• Programming: C, C++, Java, Python.
• Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP/Node.js (optional)

Key Responsibilities

1. Lab Delivery & Student Support

• Conduct practical lab sessions for courses related to Programming, Algorithms, Data Structures, Databases, Web Technologies, Data Science, AI & ML, etc.
• Assist students in executing lab assignments, mini-projects, and research experiments.
• Provide hands-on guidance in coding, debugging, tool usage, and lab-based problem solving.
• Evaluate lab work, maintain attendance, and support continuous assessment.
  

2. Lab Management

• Set up, configure, and maintain lab systems, software, and tools required for each course.
• Ensure the availability and proper functioning of hardware, software licenses, and lab resources.
• Maintain lab safety, discipline, and adherence to institutional guidelines.
• Coordinate with IT/Admin teams for system upgrades or technical issues.
  

3. Academic Support

• Assist faculty members in preparing lab manuals, rubrics, instructional material, and practical question banks.
• Support department activities including workshops, FDPs, hackathons, seminars, and student clubs.
• Guide students in industry-oriented tools, frameworks, and best practices.
  

4. Research & Development (Desirable)

• Support ongoing departmental research or student projects in Computational Science, Data Analytics, AI/ML modeling, etc.
• Assist in collecting datasets, running experiments, and supporting project documentation.
