Your impact Description External Qualifications-External Ensure the timely completion of all project specifications, designs, drawings and requisitions for areas of responsibility assigned to him. Ensure all documentation within the scope of his responsibility is prepared, checked, reviewed and approved in accordance with the Discipline Working Instructions for the project. Carry out review of vendor’s bids and documentation for technical acceptability. Carry out inspection of equipment, when requested by Project Manager, as per relevant approved documents (like Purchase Orders, Final Vendor Drawings etc.) to ensure that equipment manufactured is in line with all approved Technical Specification. Provide technical assistance to other design groups as necessary. Detailed engineering activities for various stated equipments such as Pumps, Cooling Tower, Compressors, Pharma Machinery, Boilers, Material Handling etc., Preparation of technical specification and technical data sheet for various equipments, Preparation of technical bid evaluation, Checking of vendor drawings/design w.r.t. specification/design parameters, Able to achieve target with quality norms. Knowledge on unit operations like, distillation, filtration, heat transfer etc. Design of heat exchangers, pumps specifications, hydraulics calculations. Knowledge on utilities system such as cooling water system, Boilers, Compressed Air and Instrument Air system, Nitrogen system etc. Knowledge on tankages.
