Job Description

As a Human Resources Specialist in the Pharma / CRO industry with 5 to 7 years of experience, your role involves a wide range of responsibilities to ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, rewards implementation, employee relations, employee experience and engagement, and support for special initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Successfully recruit and hire employees within the Turnaround Time (TAT). - Coordinate recruiting activities including tracking applications, conducting interviews, and selecting employees. - Conduct pre-screens, schedule interviews, administer references, and assessments. - Collaborate with managers to create job descriptions and manage internal and external job postings. - Work closely with staffing agencies to maintain appropriate staffing levels. - Provide recommendations on best practices and new recruiting initiatives. - Maintain recruitment statistics. **Onboarding:** - Guide hiring managers through the onboarding process. - Partner with hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience. - Conduct first-day orientation with new employees and be a resource for People & Culture inquiries. **Rewards Implementation:** - Serve as a resource for employee benefit inquiries and guidance. - Partner with supervisors and managers to effectively implement performance management and reward and recognition schemes. **Employee Relations:** - Listen, address, and investigate employee issues, concerns, and complaints. - Conduct workplace investigations, make recommendations, and implement actions to resolve workplace issues. - Advise and support managers and supervisors. - Ensure timely resolution of personnel matters. - Stay updated on new laws, regulations, and developments in People & Culture. - Review, update, maintain, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. **Employee Experience and Engagement:** - Contribute to employer branding by identifying attractive company traits and differentiators. - Implement employee rewards programs to recognize performance achievements and ensure employees feel valued. - Participate in employee engagement and culture initiatives. - Support people & culture strategies and administer the employee engagement and culture calendar. **Supporting Special Initiatives:** - Assist in various department projects such as compensation and benefits, People Systems, communications, employee engagement, learning and development, total rewards, and corporate and department engagements. **Administration:** - Support event planning activities. - Maintain records and documents outside of company systems. - Perform any other duties as assigned.
