About the Role:
We are seeking a capable and committed female HR Manager to independently lead the HR department. She will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions while closely aligning with the organizational goals and targets set by the Director. The ideal candidate should bring a blend of execution strength, leadership, and strategic thinking.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
- Lead the HR department independently and act as a key liaison between management and employees
- Translate the Directors vision into actionable HR initiatives
- Plan and execute departmental goals in alignment with company objectives
- Provide timely reports and updates to the Director on HR progress and targets
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for all departments
- Ensure quality hiring aligned with organizational culture and department needs
- Lead onboarding, induction, and smooth integration of new employees
Employee Engagement & Communication
- Plan, organize, and lead employee engagement programs
- Maintain open communication across all levels and address employee concerns effectively
- Build a strong, inclusive workplace culture that supports team morale and retention
HR Operations & Compliance
- Supervise attendance, leave records, and payroll inputs
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, etc.)
- Maintain updated HR documentation and handle audits or inspections as needed.
Performance Management
- Oversee performance evaluation processes and ensure timely completion of appraisal cycles
- Facilitate goal setting and feedback discussions in collaboration with department heads
- Support performance improvement and development planning initiatives
Grievance Handling & Employee Relations
- Address and resolve grievances with a balanced, empathetic approach
- Maintain workplace discipline and support a fair, transparent work culture
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies
Training & Development
Ad Hoc & Cross-Functional Support
Please note: This role may involve ad hoc responsibilities from time to time, including but not limited to:
- Assisting the Admin team during events, audits, or logistical arrangements
- Supporting Directors in confidential or urgent coordination tasks
- Helping other departments with HR-linked activities such as campaign team onboarding, travel support, or survey coordination (if project-based)
- Managing internal communications during high-activity or restructuring phases
- Participating in organizational planning, policy drafting, or compliance updates as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master's degree or PGDM in Human Resources or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in end-to-end HR management.
- Strong understanding of HR laws, payroll, and compliance.
- Leadership mindset with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage targets, and report directly to senior leadership.
