The position

As Vice President, People Organisation GBS, India, you will:

  • Lead the HR service centre, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery of HR services such as employee data management, total rewards and HR inquiries.
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for HR shared services aligned with the overall strategic direction and GPOS strategy, focusing on digital transformation, process standardization, globalization and optimisation.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership, business leaders, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and delivery of HR services, fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Drive change initiatives within the shared service centre, ensuring effective change management practices to utilise new technologies, standardise processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, taking lean leadership to the next level and development, promoting employee engagement, career growth, and succession planning to build a high-performing leadership team and organisation.

Qualifications

We are looking for an Executive with the following qualifications:

  • At least 10 years experience in driving improvements, digitalisation, and implementing shared services best practices. Ideally leading HR shared service center operations within a large, complex organization.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience leading other leaders and at least 10 years of leadership experience in total. Experience heading teams and projects in a matrix organization. A compelling leader who naturally attracts and motivates others. Leadership experience could also be from an affiliate, COE (Center of Excellence) or Product Supply.
  • Familiarity with cLEAN leadership and process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of HR technology, including HRIS, case management systems, and self-service tools.
  • Cultural awareness, financial acumen, and a digital transformation mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, customer-focused, results-driven, and adaptable to change.
  • Experience in a GBS (Global Business Services) environment is an advantage.
