Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Manage end-to-end recruitment life cycle including sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer roll-outs.
Coordinate with departmental heads to understand hiring needs.
Conduct onboarding programs and ensure a smooth induction process for new joiners.

2. HR Operations

Maintain and update employee records in HRMS.
Process letters like offer letters, appointment letters, experience letters, etc.
Experience in payroll and monthly attendance reconciliation.
Ensure proper documentation and file management.

3. Employee Engagement & Welfare

Plan and execute employee engagement programs and internal events.
Handle employee grievances and escalate when necessary.
Support initiatives related to employee motivation and retention.

4. Compliance & Statutory

Ensure adherence to labor laws and university/institutional HR policies.
Assist in handling audits and maintaining compliance records (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).

5. Performance Management

Assist in implementing the performance appraisal system.
Coordinate with department heads during mid-year and annual reviews.
Monitor goal-setting and performance feedback processes.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the education or service sector.
Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
Proficient in MS Office and HRIS tools.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
