Description

We are seeking a dedicated HSE Officer specializing in the food and beverage sector to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance within our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting a safe work environment, conducting regular inspections, and providing training to staff.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of food and beverage operations to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures specific to the food and beverage industry.
Provide training and guidance to staff on safety practices and emergency procedures.
Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with management to promote a safety culture within the organization.
Maintain records of safety audits, inspections, and training sessions.
Stay updated on relevant health and safety regulations and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Environmental Health, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in a health, safety, and environmental role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., FSSAI, HACCP).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct training sessions and workshops.
Proficient in risk assessment and incident investigation.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus.
