Job Description

Role Overview

The HR Business Partner will act as an advisor to business and engineering leaders across the drone division be it manufacturing, R&D, supply chain, Sales, flight operations, and field service teams.

The HRBP is responsible for driving workforce planning, talent development, culture building, and compliance in a fast-scaling, Tech Hiring, UAV social media, Retention, Counselling, Team Building Training Needs for highly technical UAV environment along with Business Head and Managers.

This role ensures that people strategies directly support business goals make organisation grows.

  1. Key Responsibilities

  1. HR Partnership
  • Hire Retire management,
  • Contribute to work force and staffing requirement across drone division.
  • Participate in business reviews and align HR priorities accordingly.
  • Support organisational for new drone programs for sourcing manpower and experts.
  1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Usage and hiring through social media for talent acquisition
  • Support hiring plans for all niche roles in Drone Division.
  • Create competency-based and JD focused interview frameworks.
  • Drive onboarding programs to reduce ramp-up time for teams.
  1. Performance Management
  • Implement KRA frameworks aligned to business and development cycles
  • Assist managers on goal setting, feedback, and capability-building.
  • Assist performance calibration and promotion cycles.
  • Awareness on PIP, 360 Survey, performance appraisals etc.
  1. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
  • Retention, Counselling
  • Build high-performance, safety-first culture across division.
  • Drive engagement initiatives.
  • Address morale and motivation challenges during rapid scale-up operations.
  1. Learning & Development
  • Identify skill gaps DGCA regulatory knowledge, avionics, flight operations, advanced manufacturing processes, quality & safety systems based on Managers inputs and make yearly training budgets and calendars.
  • Coordinate technical & behavioural training with internal resources and external experts.
  1. Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Manage disciplinary processes, grievance handling etc.
  • Ensure safety standards and DGCA guidelines are adhered to across teams, by participating in team meetings, Exhibitions, Demos etc.
  1. HR Operations
  • Manage compensation benchmarking for drone industry roles.
  • Support corporate HR on HRIS, attendance, payroll coordination, and MIS dashboards.
  • Track HR metrics Attrition, Productivity, Hiring velocity, Training hours, Workforce cost.
  • Manager TTR 30 BD
  1. Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • MBAPGDM in HR from a recognised institute.

Experience

  • 610 years (with 2-3 years in UAVDrone industry) of HR experience (depending on level), with exposure to

o Drone UAV Manufacturing, Engineering companies (mandatory)

o Multi-site HR management experience is a plus
