About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HR Professional with strong expertise in Legal, Compliance, Government Relations, and Statutory Management to lead and manage end-to-end HR and compliance functions at our manufacturing unit in Gummidipoondi. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of labour laws, contractor management, workers’ welfare, EHS compliance, and statutory obligations, along with excellent coordination skills with government departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all HR, legal, and compliance activities at the plant.
• Manage labour contractors, workers’ wages, and payroll compliance.
• Ensure timely compliance with all statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Factory Act, Labour Act, etc.).
• Handle EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) compliance and audits.
• Maintain effective liaison with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Implement policies to ensure smooth employee relations and dispute resolution.
• Drive workforce discipline, grievance handling, and welfare measures.
• Ensure proper documentation, audits, and reporting to management.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in HR, Law, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in HR, Compliance, and Government Relations.
• Strong understanding of labour laws, statutory compliances, and EHS regulations.
• Experience in handling large workforce (contract and permanent).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with government officials, contractors, and workers.
• Willing to work from Gummidipoondi (Chennai) location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,133.55 - ₹45,000.00 per month
