Job Description

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line HR support across the Hire-to-Retire cycle (onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, leave, payroll & benefits setup, employee records).
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries on HR policies, pay, benefits, leaves, performance management, and company guidelines via Workday Help/ServiceNow; escalate when required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local employment laws (Germany, Italy, France, Serbia, UK, and other EMEA countries).
  • Maintain accurate employee files, support audits, and safeguard confidential information.
  • Partner with HR COEs and regional HR teams to ensure smooth execution of HR programs and projects.
  • Contribute to process improvements, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation to drive efficiency in a tiered service delivery model.
  • Manage workload effectively, prioritizing based on business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 yrs strong HR operations/Shared Services experience, preferably in a multinational environment (EMEA).
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and HR ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Workday Help).
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR practices across EMEA countries.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality service with accuracy, confidentiality, and customer focus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving.
  • Strong MS office (Excel, Visio etc.) skills with knowledge of basic data analysis.
  • Experience supporting employment lifecycle processes (onboarding to exit, promotions, transfers, payroll, leave tracking., etc.).
  • Experience in HR process documentation and compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to quickly multi-task among competing priorities while meeting competing deadlines.
  • Strong customer services skills whilst maintaining confidentiality, ability to interact and build relationships to balance employee needs with business requirements.
  • Ability to operate independently with some supervision required.
  • Behaves in Ethical and Compliant manner and encourages others to do the same.
