Job Description

  • We're hiring a candidate with a specialization in Payroll Management, who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the payroll function within the organization
  • This role involves ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, tax compliance, and adherence to company policies and legal regulations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing:

    Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including data collection, verification, and distribution of payroll checks or electronic deposits. Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, deductions, and taxes. Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and errors.
  • Team Leadership:

    Manage and lead the payroll team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Policy and Compliance:

    Stay updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll tax laws and reporting requirements. Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures.
  • Technology and Process Improvement:

    Evaluate and implement payroll software and tools to streamline payroll processes. Continuously identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.
  • Reporting and Analytics:

    Generate payroll reports, including financial, tax, and compliance reports. Analyze payroll data to provide insights and recommendations for cost management and process improvement.
  • Audit and Recordkeeping:

    Manage payroll records and documentation for auditing purposes. Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll.
  • Employee Support:

    Address employee inquiries and concerns related to payroll matters. Provide guidance on payroll-related issues and ensure excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in payroll management.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
