This role sits at the core of how our policies, payroll, compliances, and day to day people operations run across locations.
About the role
This is a blended HR Ops and Compliance role. You will own the backbone of our HR processes: HRMS, policies, payroll coordination, labor law compliance, and day to day employee support.
You will work across India and global entities, partner with Finance and Legal, and make sure our people experience is smooth, compliant, and well communicated.
What you will do
HR Operations & HRMS
- Own HRMS setup, accuracy, and day to day hygiene
- Keep employee records, org structures, and workflows clean and updated
- Drive standardisation across locations where possible, and call out local exceptions clearly
Policies & Compliance
- Own HR policy documentation, version control, and communication
- Work with legal and external advisors to ensure India labor law compliance
- Support audits, documentation, and filings related to HR and people records
- Maintain oversight on global HR compliance in partnership with local partners
Payroll, Leaves & Benefits
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with Finance on time and with high accuracy
- Oversee leave, attendance, and benefits administration through HRMS and tools
- Ensure statutory components are captured correctly and employees have clarity on structure
- Run regular checks to catch gaps or errors early
Letters, Documentation & Queries
- Manage employment letters, contracts, confirmations, and related documents
- Ensure clean digital records that are easy to access and audit ready
- Handle day to day employee queries on policies, leaves, payroll, and benefits with speed and clarity
- Support onboarding and exit operations along with the HRBP and People team
Communication & Global Support
- Run clear, simple communication on policy changes, new processes, and key HR updates
- Coordinate with global teams to keep processes aligned where needed
- Act as a steady, trusted point of contact for employees on all HR ops topics
What you bring
- 3-8 years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, or HR Generalist roles
- Strong hands-on experience in HRMS, employee data management, and HR documentation
- Working knowledge of India labor laws and statutory needs, with comfort handling audits and checks
- Solid basics in payroll inputs, leaves, attendance, and benefits administration
- High attention to detail, comfort with data and spreadsheets, and a very low error appetite
- Strong written and verbal communication, with a clear and calm style under pressure
Skills & Tools
- Expert in India labour law compliance, audits, and statutory filings.

Proficient in Excel
for reports, trackers, reconciliations, and HR/payroll data validation. -
Skilled in PowerPoint
for policy, leadership, and employee communication. -
Basic Power BI/similar tool knowledge
to build simple HR metrics dashboards. - Capable of cleaning, interpreting, and generating insights from HR data (attrition, headcount, leaves, payroll).
