Key Responsibilities

Core HR Leadership

  • Drive

    talent acquisition efforts

    to attract, assess, and hire top talent aligned with organizational needs.
  • Oversee

    performance management

    cycles, from goal-setting to appraisals.
  • Manage PIP (Performance Improvement Plans) effectively to support employee growth and accountability
  • Lead

    onboarding and offboarding

    processes for a world-class employee experience.
  • Manage

    employee relations

    including payroll, reimbursements, and conflict resolution.
  • Design and deliver

    soft skills, leadership, and technical training initiatives

    .

Operational & Strategic Support

  • Produce and analyze

    billability/utilization reports

    to improve workforce efficiency.
  • Work with leadership to identify

    skill gaps

    and propose upskilling or redeployment strategies.
  • Help ensure

    project readiness

    by aligning resource availability with business needs.

Culture, Retention & Growth

  • Drive

    employee engagement

    through recognition programs, surveys, and virtual team-building events.
  • Champion

    Techwondoes culture

    and ensure values are integrated into day-to-day work.
  • Monitor

    burnout risks

    and promote wellbeing through proactive HR interventions.
  • Implement

    employer branding

    initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Support

    succession planning

    and leadership development.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior/executive role.
  • Proven track record in

    remote-first HR practices

    and global workforce management.
  • Proven record for end-to-end hiring at large scale, across multiple Job portals and using third parties.
  • Experience in the IT or software development industry is a must.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, payroll software, and project collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR and operational data.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Flexibility to take on cross-functional responsibilities beyond traditional HR.

Ability to start early in the day around 6 AM to have a good overlap with the New Zealand team.
