HR IT Engineer Application Development

The HR IT Engineer - Application Development position at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India is part of the HR IT technology group responsible for providing IT services to the Global HR Function. As a Java Developer working in the Talent Value Stream under the Agile Philosophy, you will collaborate with a cross-functional IT delivery team consisting of business analysts, developers, and testers. As a member of the team, your key responsibilities will include developing source code for software components, conducting code reviews, writing unit and functional tests, ensuring architectural changes are implemented, providing Level 3 support for technical infrastructure components, contributing to problem analysis, verifying software components through testing, managing code changes, and supporting release deployments. To excel in this role, you should have experience with Agile methodologies, designing and maintaining complex Enterprise applications, Core Java proficiency including Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns, understanding of cloud and Platform as a service offerings, experience with modern SDLC tools, Test Driven Development, SOAP or REST Services, cloud deployment experience, analytical skills, communication skills, and a commitment to staying updated with technical innovations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience.
