Job Description

As an HR Generalist at our company, you will play a vital role in supporting our expanding team. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of human resources functions, including but not limited to employee relations, recruitment assistance, onboarding, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your active involvement will be instrumental in fostering a positive company culture that facilitates the growth and success of both our employees and the organization. In the realm of Recruitment & Onboarding, you will be involved in various tasks such as assisting with job postings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, conducting onboarding sessions for new hires, and ensuring a seamless integration of new employees into the company. Your contribution to Employee Relations will involve acting as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, aiding in conflict resolution, and supporting initiatives to enhance employee engagement through feedback mechanisms. In terms of HR Administration, you will be responsible for maintaining precise employee records in both digital and physical formats, processing employment changes like promotions, transfers, and terminations, as well as monitoring time off, leaves of absence, and attendance policies. Compliance will be a crucial aspect of your role, requiring you to ensure that company policies align with local, state, and federal regulations, documentations for audits and labor law compliance, and assist in the upkeep of the employee handbook. Additionally, you will be tasked with assisting in benefits enrollment and addressing employee queries related to benefits. Your involvement in Training & Development will entail supporting training programs and employee development initiatives, as well as scheduling and monitoring mandatory compliance training sessions. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with at least 2-4 years of experience in an HR generalist or coordinator capacity. A solid understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational capabilities, and experience with HRIS systems will be beneficial. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, paid sick time, paid time off, and the opportunity for performance bonuses. The work schedule is during the day shift and requires in-person attendance.
