HR Generalist

As an HR Generalist at Ball, a renowned leader in manufacturing sustainable aluminium packaging, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the HR function of the plant and supporting the team. In the absence of the HR Manager, you will be responsible for acting as the HR manager. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with all legal requirements related to environment and safety, assisting the HR Manager in developing strategies and negotiating with unions for long-term agreements on wages, benefits, and working conditions. You will also be responsible for implementing the organization's HR strategy effectively, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and employment standards, and administering Employee Engagement programs. Furthermore, you will be accountable for monitoring and ensuring statutory compliance with various industrial laws, negotiating with labor contractors, coordinating recruitment and selection processes, maintaining up-to-date records related to training, and handling event management coordination. Your role will also involve liaising with local bodies such as Police, local village bodies, and addressing local community issues. To be successful in this role, you should possess a degree in any discipline with additional qualifications in HR management, have 2-4 years of job-related experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing organization or similar environment, and be proficient in SAP SuccessFactors or any HRMS. Additionally, knowledge of central, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as fluency in English, are essential requirements.
