HR Executive

Location: Chithode, Erode

Role Summary

Support the GM HR in day-to-day operations across workforce attendance, recruitment, worker transportation, canteen management, workplace hygiene, and farm-related logistics. This is an execution-heavy role that ensures the smooth functioning of both the garment unit and farm support systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transport Assistance

• Maintain daily vehicle deployment sheets for staff and farm movements.
• Track driver attendance, fuel slips, and trip logs.
• Liaise with drivers, mechanics, and transport vendors for timely vehicle service.
• Accompany or coordinate farm worker pickups and material transport as per seasonal schedules.

2. HR Support

• Update and monitor daily attendance registers.
• Assist in onboarding: collect documents, issue ID cards, assign uniforms.
• Maintain employee data files and assist with PF/ESI paperwork.
• Track leave applications and report absentees to respective departments.

3. Canteen Monitoring

• Track daily headcount and ensure timely service.
• Handle complaints or special requests and coordinate with the food vendor.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene checklists and feedback logs.

4. Workplace Hygiene Oversight

• Supervise cleaning staff and maintain daily cleanliness checklists.
• Ensure timely stock of cleaning supplies and toiletries.
• Report any repairs or sanitation issues immediately.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain updated checklists, logs, and reports for:
• Transport usage
• Attendance summaries
• Canteen reports
• Cleaning audits
• Assist in preparing weekly summary reports for the GM HR.

Preferred Skills & Qualities

• Good computer proficiency (Excel, WhatsApp, Google Forms).
• Fluent in Tamil; working knowledge of English preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills to deal with workers, drivers, and vendors.
• Proactive, punctual, and willing to work on-ground as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
