Job Description

As an HR Coordinator at Tijus Academy, you will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources functions to enhance the academic environment. Your responsibilities will include: - **Recruitment Support:** Assisting in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks. - **Onboarding & Offboarding:** Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, preparing contracts, conducting inductions, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Managing the offboarding process with proper documentation for terminations and exit procedures. - **Employee Records Management:** Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, updating information for new hires, terminations, leaves, transfers, and other changes. - **Training & Development:** Coordinating and conducting training sessions for employees, tracking attendance, feedback, and compliance with ongoing learning initiatives. - **Employee Relations:** Responding to employee inquiries regarding benefits, company policies, and HR procedures, fostering a positive line of communication. - **HR Compliance & Reporting:** Ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies, assisting in the preparation of HR reports and metrics. - **HR Projects & Initiatives:** Participating in assigned HR projects and initiatives to support continuous improvement in HR practices. Qualifications required for this role include: - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - **Experience:** Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or in a similar administrative role within HR. - **Skills:** Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with HR information systems (HRIS) is desirable. - **Certifications:** Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus. Preferred attributes include a background in HR functions within an academic environment, ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, proactive and positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
