Housekeeping Supervisor

You are looking for a skilled and dependable Housekeeping Supervisor to take charge of leading and organizing the housekeeping team to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the property. Your responsibilities will include supervising staff, conducting inspections, managing inventory, and ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene guidelines. Your key duties will involve supervising, scheduling, and coordinating daily activities of the housekeeping team. You will be responsible for inspecting guest rooms, common areas, and workstations to ensure cleanliness and compliance with set standards. Additionally, training new employees, addressing guest complaints, maintaining inventory, and monitoring staff performance will be crucial aspects of your role. To excel in this position, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional education or certification in hospitality management considered a plus. A minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, is required. Strong leadership skills, effective communication, and organizational abilities are essential. Attention to detail, a sense of responsibility, and the flexibility to work weekends and holidays are also key qualifications. Proficiency in housekeeping management software is advantageous. In this fast-paced environment, physical mobility is necessary, and tasks may include standing, bending, lifting, and exposure to cleaning chemicals.
