Housekeeping Supervisor

1. Staff Supervision

• Assign daily cleaning duties to housekeeping staff.
• Monitor attendance, grooming, discipline, and shift timings.
• Provide on-job training to new staff and ensure proper cleaning techniques.

2. Area Management

• Ensure all hospital areas (wards, ICU, OT, OPD, labs, lobby, washrooms, corridors, pharmacy, admin, etc.) are cleaned as per schedule.
• Conduct regular rounds to check cleanliness and immediately rectify issues.
• Ensure deep cleaning, fumigation, and special cleaning tasks are done on time.

3. Quality & Hygiene Control

• Maintain hospital hygiene standards (NABH recommended).
• Check use of correct chemicals, dilution ratios, mops, and equipment.
• Ensure infection control practices are followed (color-coding, PPE, biomedical waste segregation).

4. Inventory & Stock Control

• Maintain stock of cleaning chemicals, mops, gloves, buckets, machinery, and housekeeping materials.
• Raise requests for replenishment and track usage to avoid wastage.

5. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with nursing, admin, maintenance, and security for cleaning-related requirements.
• Report any damages, facility issues, or repairs needed to the maintenance team.
• Maintain daily cleaning checklists, duty rosters, attendance, and inspection records.

6. Customer/Patient Service

• Ensure patient rooms/toilets are cleaned promptly.
• Handle patient/attendant complaints related to cleanliness and resolve them quickly.

7. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure staff follow safety protocols while handling chemicals and equipment.
• Monitor proper segregation and disposal of biomedical waste.
• Ensure all housekeeping staff follow hospital SOPs.

8. Performance Monitoring

• Conduct periodic evaluation of housekeeping staff.
• Identify gaps and provide corrective training.
• Maintain discipline and ensure high standards of cleanliness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
