Job Description

Position: Housekeeping Supervisor

Department: Housekeeping

Reports to: Executive Housekeeper / Assistant HousekeeperJob Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations, ensures cleanliness standards, allocates tasks, inspects rooms, trains staff, and supports smooth functioning of the department.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising and coordinating the activities of housekeepers and room attendants.
Conduct room inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Assist in scheduling staff, assigning rooms, and monitoring attendance.
Train new housekeeping team members on procedures, safety, and hotel standards.
Ensure timely completion of rooms for guest check-ins.
Address guest complaints and resolve service issues promptly.
Monitor inventory of linens, amenities, cleaning supplies, and request replenishment.
Maintain records on room status, daily checklists, and housekeeping reports.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for smooth operations.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of housekeeping experience in hotels.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals.
Ability to handle guest requests professionally.
Basic computer skills for reporting and room management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Internship

Pay: ₹9,685.98 - ₹16,000.00 per month
