Housekeeping roles involve performing cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing various surfaces and areas like rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces. Key responsibilities also include making beds, changing linens, replenishing supplies like towels and toiletries, and managing laundry. Housekeepers are responsible for waste removal, reporting damages or safety hazards, maintaining cleaning equipment, and adhering to health and safety regulations to ensure a sanitary and organized environment.   Core Housekeeping Duties Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting furniture and fixtures, polishing surfaces, and thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and floors.  Bed Making and Linens: Make beds, change dirty linens, and ensure a fresh supply of clean towels and bedding is available for guests or residents.  Waste Management: Collect and dispose of trash and recycling, ensuring bins are emptied and clean.  Restocking Supplies: Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, drinking glasses, and other consumables in rooms.  Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is stored properly.  Safety and Maintenance Reporting Issues: Inspect rooms and facilities and promptly report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate manager or supervisor.  Health and Safety: Follow established health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and sanitary working environment for themselves and others.  Customer Service and Organization Guest Interaction: Interact with guests and residents, answering requests, addressing concerns, and providing general assistance with professionalism and patience.  Lost and Found: Securely handle any lost articles found in rooms and turn them over to the proper authority.  Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are available.
