Job Title: Housekeeping Site Incharge Department: Facility Management / Housekeeping Location: MIT School Wakhari, Tal: Pandharpur, Dist: Solapur Reporting To: Operations Manager / Facility Head Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview: The Housekeeping Site Incharge is responsible for managing end-to-end housekeeping operations at a designated site. This includes supervising staff, ensuring cleanliness standards, coordinating with vendors, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene protocols. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily housekeeping operations across the site, including common areas, washrooms, offices, and external premises Supervise and manage housekeeping staff, including shift planning, attendance, and performance monitoring Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to SOPs Coordinate with vendors for supply of cleaning materials, equipment maintenance, and pest control services Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure timely procurement Train staff on cleaning techniques, equipment handling, and safety protocols Handle client or resident complaints and resolve issues promptly Ensure compliance with statutory norms related to sanitation, waste disposal, and safety Prepare daily/weekly reports on housekeeping activities, manpower deployment, and material usage Liaise with other departments (security, maintenance, HR) for smooth site operations Required Skills & Qualifications Criteria Details Education Minimum 12th pass; diploma in housekeeping or facility management preferred Experience 3–6 years in housekeeping/facility operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Skills Team management, inventory control, client handling, SOP enforcement, basic computer literacy Language Proficiency in local language; English/Hindi communication preferred Preferred Attributes Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to manage large teams and multitask under pressure Familiarity with eco-friendly cleaning practices and waste segregation Experience in managing housekeeping operations for hospitals, IT parks, or gated communities
