Job Description

Housekeeping Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage daily housekeeping operations across the campus.
  • Supervise and monitor housekeeping staff, including attendance, grooming, and performance.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards in academic blocks, administrative areas, hostels, cafeterias, and outdoor spaces.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, security, and administration departments for smooth facility operations.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and checklists for all areas.
  • Monitor the use and stock of cleaning materials, equipment, and consumables.
  • Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of premises to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Handle staff training and motivation to ensure efficiency and discipline.
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors for housekeeping supplies and outsourced services.
  • Prepare reports related to housekeeping operations, staff deployment, and maintenance requirement
