Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Housekeeping Executive located in Dadar. The Housekeeping Executive will oversee housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and common areas. Responsibilities include managing the laundry, organizing staff schedules, training new staff, and addressing guest needs effectively. The role also requires coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and maintaining high standards of hygiene and service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
  • Allocate work duties to housekeeping staff and ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to maintain quality and hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate with Front Office for room readiness and special guest requirements.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities.
  • Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Handle guest complaints regarding housekeeping services and resolve promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Prepare duty rosters, attendance, and performance reports of the team.
  • Support cost control initiatives without compromising service quality.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Laundry management
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Excellent Organization Skills for scheduling and operational efficiency
  • Experience in Training and supervising housekeeping staff
  • Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
  • Relevant certifications or a degree in hospitality management is beneficial
