Housekeeping Desk Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our hotel or hospitality environment, ensuring guests experience a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Previous hotel or janitorial experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry while contributing to a high standard of service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards
• Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all surfaces are spotless
• Maintain organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms or public spaces
• Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with laundry duties as required
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
• Uphold confidentiality and respect guest privacy at all times

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not essential
• Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
