Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The role ensures that guests experience a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas according to hotel standards.
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and amenities.
  • Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, coffee/tea, and stationery.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Report any maintenance issues, room damages, or lost & found items to the supervisor.
  • Follow proper chemical handling and cleaning procedures for safety and hygiene.
  • Ensure cleaning trolleys and equipment are well-maintained, clean, and stocked.
  • Adhere to hotel security and key control policies.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines as per hotel policy and local regulations.
  • Assist in laundry and linen management if required.
