Housekeeping Associate

Job Summary:

As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for guests in guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned hotel spaces. Your role is essential in ensuring a positive guest experience through exceptional cleanliness and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
• Sanitize bathrooms, restock towels and toiletries, and ensure guest comfort items are refreshed.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
• Replace used linens and towels with clean ones.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or housekeeping service.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Adhere to hotel health and safety policies and procedures.
• Handle guest belongings with care and respect guest privacy.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and equipment in clean and working condition.
• Follow daily task lists and complete assigned rooms within time limits.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar setting is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Basic understanding of English or local language for communication.
