Hotel Receptionist

ONLY FEMALE Preferred: Married Job Summary: The Hotel Receptionist at Vaikuntha Stays serves as the first and last impression for our guests. You will manage the front desk with warmth and professionalism, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes, handling reservations, and providing exceptional service and local knowledge. Key Responsibilities: Welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional attitude. Manage check-in and check-out procedures using our hotel management system. Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly and courteously. Take reservations and maintain accurate records of room availability. Assist guests with travel directions, local information, and hotel services. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and prompt resolution of guest issues. Handle billing, process payments, and maintain accurate guest accounts. Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently. Promote in-house services, dining options, and local experiences. Ensure the front desk area is tidy and presentable at all times. Follow safety, security, and emergency procedures as needed. Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent (a hospitality degree/certificate is a plus). Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role preferred. Proficiency in using hotel PMS software (training will be provided). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure. Well-groomed, professional appearance. Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
