Essential:

Full-time Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy or related field from a reputed institution.

Desirable:

Degree/Diploma/Certification in Operations / General Management.

Experience

Essential:

35 years of experience in hot refining or a similar role within the refining or manufacturing industry.

Desired:

Strong understanding of refining processes and technology.
Experience in process optimization and quality control in a refining environment.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of industry standards for refinery operations.

Job Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to Process Monitoring Sheet with minimal deviations.
Oversee hot refining operations, including charging schedule, flux quantity, alloy composition, and virgin alloy additions across furnaces.
Achieve shift targets for cost control, production, melt loss, dross production, recovery, and quality.
Review and sign off quality reports based on spectrometry and visual checks; ensure accurate ERP entries.
Respond to escalated operational issues during the shift.
Coordinate with maintenance for equipment availability and smooth operations.
Implement corrective actions as needed.
Maintain ingot quality standards and control weight variations.
Monitor and control plant pollution levels.
Ensure strict adherence to process parameters during operations.
