Description

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Methods Draftsman to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and design for offshore construction projects, with the ability to produce high-quality technical drawings and collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed offshore construction drawings and layouts.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports for offshore projects.
Review and modify existing drawings based on feedback from the engineering team.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drafting activities.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in drafting for offshore construction or marine projects.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation) and other relevant drafting tools.
Strong understanding of offshore construction methods and practices.
Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO, ASME, and DNV.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
