Job Title: Hostess Location: A Chimbel House, Chimbel, Goa Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 1+ years (Freshers with good communication skills are welcome) Competitive Compensation (Based on experience) + Incentives About Us A Chimbel House is a warm and vibrant restaurant nestled in the heart of Chimbel, Goa. We’re seeking experienced, passionate, and service-oriented professionals to join our growing team and help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Key Responsibilities Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant. Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently using a reservation system or manual log. Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortably seated. Maintain an organized and accurate waitlist during busy times. Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the service team. Maintain cleanliness and neatness at the reception/hostess desk and entrance area. Coordinate with service and management teams to ensure smooth guest flow. Handle guest queries courteously, either in person or over the phone. Support restaurant promotional activities and inform guests about specials or events. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as a Hostess or in a customer-facing role (Freshers with excellent communication skills and personality will be considered). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A friendly, approachable, and confident personality. Well-groomed, presentable, and professional demeanor. Fluency in English; knowledge of Konkani/Hindi is an advantage. Ability to multitask and work calmly under pressure. Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
