Roles and Responsibilities

Supervising and Managing:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hostel, including student conduct, facilities management, and staff supervision.
Ensuring Safety and Security:
Implementing and enforcing security measures, monitoring the premises, and responding to emergencies.
Managing Student Life:
Addressing student concerns, resolving conflicts, organizing social and recreational activities, and promoting a positive and inclusive community.
Administrative Duties:
Maintaining records, managing budgets, coordinating with other departments, and handling correspondence.
Promoting Well-being:
Ensuring the physical and mental well-being of students by promoting healthy living habits and providing support when needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

Prior Hostel or Residential Management:
Experience in managing student housing, residential facilities, or similar environments is highly desirable.
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse group of students and staff.
Conflict Resolution:
Proven ability to address conflicts effectively and mediate disputes among residents.
Organizational and Administrative Skills:
Experience in record-keeping, budgeting, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with students, parents, and other staff.
5-10 years of experience as a Hostel Warden or similar role.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Strong conflict resolution skills with empathy towards students' needs.
Proficiency in administrative skills such as record-keeping and reporting.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
